E-1: Independent student living in Cuyahoga county who is employed on a full-time basis and pursuing a part-time program of study may be eligible for in county tuition. Independent student living in any other county in the state of Ohio who is employed on a full-time basis and pursuing a part-time program of study may be eligible for out of county tuition. *This exemption must be renewed every semester.
Documentation includes an Ohio-issued ID, most recent federal tax return, current lease/mortgage (and/or domicile form), and proof of employment (see form for acceptable proof of employment).
E-2: U.S. Military personnel or spouse/dependent of a person on active military duty that is stationed outside of Ohio and has maintained Ohio as their home record.
Documentation includes an Ohio-issued ID for student (if dependent, parent, guardian or spouse Ohio-issued ID) most recent Ohio tax return, most recent federal tax return, copy of military orders showing Ohio as home state of record, and a current lease/mortgage (and/or domicile form).

E-4: Employer Transfer
Documentation includes an Ohio-issued ID for student (if dependent, parent, guardian or spouse Ohio-issued ID) most recent Ohio tax return, most recent federal tax return, letter from the employer verifying the transfer and a current lease/mortgage (and/or domicile form).

E-5: Migrant Worker
Documentation includes an Ohio-issued ID for student (if dependent, parent, guardian or spouse Ohio-issued ID), proof of Ohio work for at least four months each of the past three years*
- Certificate from the Ohio Migrant Education Center, letter from the employer, letter from the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. All documents must certify the date of employment or dependency.
E-6: Community Service Worker
Documentation includes an Ohio-issued ID for student (if dependent, parent, guardian or spouse Ohio-issued ID) most recent federal tax return, sworn statement from the community service group verifying Ohio as the home state of record, and a current lease/mortgage (and/or domicile form).

E-7: Marital Hardship
Documentation includes an Ohio-issued ID, document to verify impending martial status, notarized statement of financial dependency, and a current lease/mortgage (and/or domicile form).
E-8: Ohio National Guard
Documentation includes an Ohio-issued ID, Ohio National Guard ID, most recent federal tax return, and a current lease/mortgage (and/or domicile form).
E-9: DACA
Documentation includes an Ohio-issued ID for student, a completed DACA form, employment authorization card with Category 33 listed, copy of an unexpired USCIS I-797 receipt showing approval has been granted and indicating a Category 33.
E-10: Relocation, Full-Time
Documentation includes a letter from the employer stating that the parent has moved to a new position, lease agreement or mortgage state showing they lived in Ohio and the previous year's federal or state tax returns.
