Training and Resources

The following resources and training tools are intended to support members of the Tri-C community as they seek knowledge and understanding of gender and women’s issues.

Gender Equity Training

The research-based Gender Equity Training course is designed for College employees.

This foundational course introduces concepts and terms pertaining to gender and gender equity and encourages thought-provoking dialogue within our organization and in our daily lives.

The activities and exercises encourage participants to reflect on their personal experiences and observations surrounding gender in the workplace.

Tri-C employees can click here to register in TEC Learn. (Sign-in required)

Gender Glossary

“Gender” is such a pervasive term that we often assume we understand its meaning and application. However, like any concept that is applied to a group of people, these assumptions can result in misunderstanding and unintended harm. This glossary of gender-related terms serves as basic guidance toward a more thoughtful and respectful climate at Cuyahoga Community College.
