Talent and Organizational Development is dedicated to creating meaningful experiences that support personal and professional growth through continuous learning. At the heart of our work is a belief that learning should be accessible, engaging and relevant. We design and deliver a wide range of evolving programs and resources that empower employees to build new skills, grow in their careers, and prepare for the future. Our approach goes beyond traditional training — we're here to support lifelong learning as a core part of our culture and a driver of success across the organization.

Linc: Learn, Inquire, Network, Collaborate

LINC (Learn, Improve, Network, Collaborate) is a talent development initiative that fosters continuous learning, skill-building and meaningful connections among all College employees. Rooted in our commitment to the employee experience and institutional excellence, LINC supports personal and professional growth, helping staff and faculty stay prepared for change and future opportunities. By encouraging collaboration and ongoing development, LINC strengthens individual potential and our collective ability to advance the College’s mission and serve our community.

To enhance employee upskilling and learning, we offer a variety of comprehensive services designed to support professional growth and development. These services include:

  • Customized Training: Tailored workshops and courses to meet the unique needs of our staff and faculty
  • Assessments and Insights: Tools and feedback to help employees understand their strengths and areas for improvement
  • LinkedIn Learning: Access to a vast library of online courses covering a wide range of topics and skills
  • Talent Development Events: Interactive events and seminars to foster learning, networking and collaboration

These offerings are designed to ensure that employees have the resources to thrive, adapt to change, and contribute effectively to the College's mission and community.

Our commitment to career growth and development is exemplified through a variety of initiatives and support systems that empower our employees to reach their full potential. These include:

  • Performance and Growth Reviews: Regular evaluations to provide feedback on performance and set goals for future growth
  • Professional Development Programs: Comprehensive training and education opportunities to enhance skills and expertise
  • Leadership Development: Programs designed to cultivate leadership skills and prepare employees for advanced roles
  • Developmental Coaching: Personalized coaching to support individual career aspirations and professional growth

These initiatives ensure that every employee has access to the resources and guidance needed to succeed and contribute meaningfully to our collective mission.

"Organizational development helps bring people with unique skills together to facilitate learning opportunities for employees across the College. They are a great resource for employees with decades of experience, employees who started at the College yesterday, and everyone in between. Their ability to connect with people where they are makes a world of difference to ensure that our people always have a path forward filled with growth potential."

  • Ryan Kilcoyne, Director, User Services

"We called on this talented HR team to help us implement a process mapping exercise to update all our cross-functional processes. The final process maps were nothing short of phenomenal. It has resulted in operational consistency, a Collegewide understanding of CCP programming, and audit preparedness. The maps continue to be a departmental foundation and are easily accessible and editable, and the Talent and Organizational Development team has been available for consult as needed afterward. It was fantastic — a five-star experience!"

  • Kris Walz, Executive Director, College Credit Plus and Early College Operations
