Great Colleges To Work For

One of only 22 two-year institutions named in 2022 and one of only 12 two-year schools achieving Honor Roll status, Tri-C was the only school to receive this honor in back-to-back years (2021 and 2022).

Aspen Prize

Tri-C was recognized in 2023 as a member of the Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence Top 150 list. A signature recognition for high achievement and performance among American community colleges, Tri-C was the only Ohio school named to the 2023 list.

Tri-C strives to provide high-quality, accessible and affordable educational opportunities and services that promote individual development and improve the overall quality of life in a multicultural community, and we reward employees for helping us in this mission.

Teaching Excellence Award in Honor of Ralph M. Besse: This award recognizes faculty Collegewide for their commitment to academic integrity, stimulation of intellectual development, and investment in students within and beyond the classroom. Robert and Joanne Lewis Award for Creativity, Innovation and Engagement: This award recognizes a full-time employee who exemplifies exceptional leadership, scholarship and a deep commitment to positively impacting the College and its students.

Innovation of the Year Award: This award is sponsored by the League of Innovation in the Community College, a consortium of prominent college districts dedicated to innovation, experimentation and evaluation in all areas of community college development.

Individual Accomplishments and Awards: Each year, employees from all units of the College are recognized for academic achievement, including earning advanced degrees, publishing or showing art at a juried show, and election to regional or national offices.

Service Recognition: Employees are recognized for their years of service in five-year increments.

Tri-C's Policies and Procedures guide our employees by outlining our operating principles. These guidelines maintain consistency, accountability, transparency and fairness across the College by providing a framework for expected behavior while safeguarding your rights and responsibilities as a staff member. By fostering a positive and productive atmosphere, we hope to ensure a well-organized, efficient and supportive work environment for our employees.
