Major Projects

Major Capital and Construction projects support Cuyahoga Community College (Tri‑C^®) by improving campus infrastructure and enhancing safety, accessibility and long‑term performance. These collegewide and campus‑specific initiatives focus on creating consistent, efficient and welcoming environments for students, faculty, staff and visitors. Current major projects, timelines and key contacts are outlined below.

Capital Update:

Tri-C Westshore E-Sports Renovation – Construction Notification​

Location: SHCS 163

Duration: Sept. 14 - Dec. 14, 2026 (subject to change based on equipment and material procurement lead times)

Affected Areas: Minimal construction traffic impacts outside the project area. Access and site logistics have been coordinated to minimize construction foot traffic in occupied spaces.

Scope of Work: Renovation of the E-Sports facility in SHCS 163. Initial demolition activities are scheduled from Sept. 14 - 18. Construction activities will continue throughout the project duration. 

Noise Level: Moderate within the construction area; minimal outside the construction area during demolition activities.
