Events and Activities

Transfer and Career Exploration Fairs

This semester, the Transfer Center will be offering fairs that focus on transfer and career opportunities for students in each of Tri-C's academic schools. Students can:

  • Explore opportunities to continue your education at one of the participating transfer destinations.
  • Receive transfer planning resources to ensure you will be transfer-ready when you graduate from Tri-C.
  • Network and learn about career opportunities in your field of study from a panel of local employers.
  • Connect with the Career Center about career development and exploration opportunities, including job shadowing.

All events are from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Monday, April 7: School of Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering and Computer Science
Westshore Campus, SLT Commons

  • Participating schools include Baldwin Wallace University, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland State University, Franklin University, Kent State University, The Ohio State University, Tiffin University, The University of Akron, The University of Cincinnati and The University of Toledo.
  • Participating employers include NASA and Samsara.

Tuesday, April 8: School of Business, Hospitality and Legal Professions
Eastern Campus, President's Plaza (2nd Floor, Eastern Student Services)

  • Participating schools include Baldwin Wallace University, Cleveland State University, Franklin University, Hiram College, John Carroll University, Kent State University, Ohio University, The Ohio State University, Tiffin University, The University of Akron, The University of Cincinnati and The University of Toledo.
  • Participating employers include Hilton Cleveland Downtown and The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland.

Wednesday, April 9: School of Nursing and Health Professions 
Metropolitan Campus, Health Sciences (1st Floor Lobby)

  • Participating schools include Bowling Green State University, Cleveland State University, Kent State University, Ohio University, The University of Akron, The University of Toledo, Ursuline College, Western Governors University, and Youngstown State University.
  • Participating employers include Apex Dermatology, MedVet, and MetroHealth.

Thursday, April 10: School of Liberal Arts and Sciences and School of Creative Arts
Western Campus, WSS G4 A&B

  • Participating schools include Baldwin Wallace University, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland Institute of Art, Cleveland State University, Columbus College of Art and Design, Franklin University, Kent State University, The Ohio State University, Tiffin University, The University of Akron, The University of Cincinnati, and the University of Toledo.
  • Participating employers include Lake Erie Graphics, Front Steps, and Ohio Guidestone.

Bachelor Bound Program

This year, students who meet with a Tri-C transfer specialist AND attend a campus visit at a four-year school, will receive a $50 gift card and a special Bachelor Bound t-shirt! Contact the Transfer Center to find out more!

Discover CSU Day

This transfer-focused event to learn why more students are making the CSU decision. Experience engaged learning on the vibrant downtown CSU campus and learn about competitive scholarships, residence halls, 175+ academic programs, 18 NCAA Division I sports, exciting ways to get involved, affordable tuition, and so much more!

Bowling Green State University Transfer Info Session & Campus Tour

This visit includes a 30-minute info session hosted by the BGSU Transfer Team. You'll learn more about opportunities for transfer students, what to expect as a student at BGSU, the application process, credit transfer, and more.

The Ohio State University Transfer Overview and Tour

This session is for college students seeking general information about transferring to Ohio State. The presentation highlights life as a Buckeye, the application timeline, an overview of transferring credit, academic preparation, housing options, and financial aid. After the presentation, university ambassadors share their student experience while leading you on a walking campus tour. The tour showcases academic resources and involvement opportunities.

Tiffin University Dragon Next Transfer Open House

The Transfer/DragonNext Open House is for transfer students with at least 12 college credit hours post-high school graduation. If this sounds like you, we invite you to register here! During this event, you will get an opportunity to hear from admissions, credit evaluations, see campus, eat in our dining hall, and more.  

Transfer Preview Day at Central State University

Wednesday, April 2 | 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. | Register here

Students interested in transferring to Central State University can expect a showcase of academics, a resource fair, meet and greets with faculty and staff, campus tours and provide exposure to the the HBCU experience at this event. University of Cincinnati Transfer Preview UC and Tour

Whether you are coming from across the country or from one of our local community colleges, we are here to help you through the transfer process! Learn about the University of Cincinnati transfer admissions process through an admissions presentation and a one-hour student-guided walking tour. 

Youngstown State University Transfer and Adult Student Visit

Youngstown State University would like to invite all prospective transfer and adult students to the Transfer and Adult Student Visit Day.  At this in-person event, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn about the application and transfer process
  • See how your credits transfer and apply to your major
  • Discover current scholarships available
  • Speak with the various academic colleges and student service areas
