“We promote a vibrant, diverse and thriving arts community that enhances learning and strengthens pride of place.”
- The George Gund Foundation
Founded in 1952 as a private, nonprofit institution, The George Gund Foundation was created to contribute to human well-being and the progress of society.
Since its inception the Foundation has donated $722 million to the arts, civic engagement, community development, economic development, environmental policy, human services, public education and racial inequality.
As a friend and supporter of the Cuyahoga Community College Foundation, The Gund Foundation makes free outdoor Tri-C JazzFest concerts possible, ensuring the program’s continued growth through expanded community engagement.
