Office of Institutional Research
The Office of Institutional Research (IR) at Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) supports Collegewide, data-informed decision-making through the collection, interpretation and presentation of accurate and impactful data.
What We Do
IR engages in a wide range of research partnerships, offering insights, reports and dashboards that can be leveraged to answer your data-related questions. We support both large- and small-scale initiatives and are here to talk through any data support you may need. Some examples of areas we provide support in include:
- Academic and Student Affairs (graduation rates, transfer data, employment outcomes, application and registration information, completion statistics, etc.)
- Strategic planning
- Enrollment projections
- Program evaluation and outcome measurement
- State, federal and other reporting, such as IPEDS (Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System) and SSI (State Share of Instruction) subsidy calculations
- Survey creation and dissemination
- Administration of national or regional surveys (CCSSE, Noel Levitz, etc.)
- Student and faculty reports and lists
- Self-service, on-demand Argos datablock creation for Tri-C users
- Operational processes and data error assessment/prevention
