Program 60

Tri-C Program 60

Through Program 60, Ohio residents age 60 and older may register for regularly scheduled credit (and a limited number of noncredit classes) on an audit, tuition and fee-free, space-available basis.

Program 60 allows individuals to enroll in noncredit recreation classes, but does not apply to noncredit courses hosted by Corporate College® West, Corporate College East or Workforce Solutions. Call 216-987-6000, option 1 for more information on noncredit courses.

Course registration for participants occurs once the term begins (see start dates below). Courses could be full or cancelled prior to that and, therefore, not available for Program 60 participants. Credit-earning students registered for a course are not permitted to switch to Program 60 status after the start of the term.

Note: Program 60 does not cover the cost of textbooks or other course materials.

All Ohio residents age 60 or older are eligible for Program 60. To become a Program 60 student, you must complete an application for admission.

Applications to the college are completed online. Visit tri-c.edu/apply for full instructions and the link to the online application.

Once the application is processed, you will be assigned a Tri-C student number (S#). You will need this number when registering for classes. If you have not taken a course at Tri-C within the past three semesters, you will need to reapply.

Prior to registration, you will need to select the course(s) you would like to register for. Printed schedule booklets are not available. All course offerings can be viewed online.

  • Visit tri-c.edu/programs and click "Search for Available Courses."
  • Choose your desired term, then click "Submit."
  • Follow the bullets points to search for specific classes. You can view all classes within a subject area by clicking "Subject" and then "Class Search". You can also filter by campus and instructor.
