Jim Strassman is a native Clevelander known as much for his insurance agency as he is for his philanthropy. His dedication to education and the arts has advanced the academic careers of countless Cleveland-area students, helping them achieve their goals at colleges and universities, including providing scholarship support to Tri-C students pursuing the creative arts.

Music fans will recognize the name: Sponsorship of the outdoor Strassman Insurance Stage at the Tri-C JazzFest is one of his generous contributions to the festival. Jim also serves as a JazzFest Advisory Board member, lending his time, his business expertise and his lifelong love of music to help guide the program and develop the next generation of jazz musicians.

In addition to the JazzFest, Jim has been involved with the Cleveland International Film Festival, American Red Cross and other community organizations.
