The Artists Archives of the Western Reserve (AAWR) is proud to present the 2025 NewNow, Northeast Ohio's premier competitive art exhibition. This year's exhibition was juried by Jimmy Baker, Associate Professor, and head of the Painting and Drawing department at the Art Academy of Cincinnati.

The exhibition will be held in Tri-C's beautiful 3,000 square foot Gallery East located at 4250 Richmond Road, Highland Hills, OH 44122.

Cash awards totaling $1750 will be given out: Four chosen by the juror, and one additional award by popular vote from attendees at the opening reception. All proceeds from the competition will fund the artist's awards and benefit the Artists Archives, whose mission is to support Ohio visual artists and preserve their important heritage for future generations.

The Best of the Best: Cleveland Photography

Opening Reception Nov. 12, 6 - 8 p.m.

The Best of the Best: Cleveland Photography features work from three local photography clubs: The Beachwood Photo Group, the Cleveland Photographic Society and the Western Reserve Photographic Society. Each club will present their "Best of the Best" for the exhibition. Three pieces will be selected for Best in Show awards by Juror Tom Huck, Curator for University Hospitals Art Collection. The show will run from Nov. 12, 2026 through Feb. 4, 2027 at Tri-C's Gallery East at the Eastern Campus. An opening reception will be held on Thursday, Nov. 12, from 6 - 8 p.m.
