Dietary Management Certificate

Are you looking to advance your skills in health care foodservice? Dietetic technology certificate of proficiency. Train for Certified Dietary Manager and Certified Food proftection Professional (CDM, CFPP) exams. Approved by the Association of Nutrition and Foodservice Professionals (ANFP)

If you are not already an active Tri-C student, you must first apply to the college. If you are interested in more than one health careers program, you must submit a separate health careers application for each program.  You may only apply to three programs at one time.

This program is designed for health care food service employees interested in developing dietary management skills. 

A Certified Dietary Manager, Certified Food Protection Professional (CDM®, CFPP®) has the education, training, and experience to competently perform the responsibilities of a dietary manager and has proven this by passing a nationally-recognized credentialing exam and fulfilling the requirements needed to maintain certified status.

CDM, CFPPs are experts at managing foodservice operations and ensuring food safety. They are responsible for implementation of menus, foodservice purchasing, and food preparation. They apply nutrition principles, document nutrition information, manage work teams, and much more.

A CDM, CFPP has achieved defined competencies in five key areas:  Nutrition, Foodservice, Personnel and Communications, Sanitation And Safety, Business Operations.
