Danielle Bradford

Danielle Bradford I’ve been tutoring at Tri-C since 2018. Before joining the Westshore team, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and professional writing from Northern Illinois University. Fun fact about me: I can guess the weight of an ice cream cone/bowl just by looking at it!

Libby Burnette

Libby BurnetteI worked as a writing consultant at the Eastern Campus Writing Center before joining the Westshore team in fall 2019. I also teach various levels of English composition at Tri-C. I hold a Master of Fine Arts degree in creative writing from Eastern Washington University's Inland Northwest Writing Center. My goals include publishing a collection of short stories and traveling throughout Italy and Greece.

Catherine Butler

Catherine ButlerI’ve been with Tri-C as a tutor and anthropology instructor since fall 2019.  I hold a bachelor’s degree  from Miami University and a master’s in anthropology from Western Michigan University. One of my favorite places to travel is Quebec, where I can practice my French and experience the beautiful, vibrant rural and urban scenery. I love helping students succeed, so come visit me!

Dana CampbellI'm a licensed intervention specialist who enjoys helping Student Accessibility Services, Adult Diploma Program and ASPIRE participants succeed in their developmental English courses.

Patricia Davis

Patricia DavisI have served as an English Tutor at Tri-C since 2010.  During that time, I have had the opportunity to work with many students who needed help not only with English assignments, but with writing and study skills in many other subject areas.  Prior to coming to Tri-C, I served as a teacher and principal in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District for 35 years where I learned how to work with students on all grade levels. My interests include reading, participating in civic organizations and encouraging others to fulfill their dreams for a successful future.

Gerard Hall

Gerard HallI joined Tri-C as an English tutor in 2019, but I’ve been a licensed and certified teacher for more than a decade. I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s in teaching and learning with technology, and I’m currently pursuing a degree in educational leadership. I specialize in tutoring English and writing, but I can also help students with academic research, scholarly writing and citation formatting.

Josh Kesterson

John KestersonIn my years of experience as an English tutor and instructor, I’ve found special purpose and fulfillment working with students on their writing skills. I hold a bachelor’s degree in literature (minor in philosophy) and a master’s degree in English, both from John Carroll University. I like to run, cook and play guitar in my free time.

Matias Marrero

Matias MarreroI’ve been an English tutor at Tri-C since 1995. Not long after earning a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, some great business opportunities emerged for me. I have decades of experience in import customs brokerage, as well as product development and design in organic skin care. My interests include moral philosophy, historical revisionism, decentralized currencies, and Byzantine and Neoclassical architecture.

Timothy McNultyI’ve been a high school English teacher since 2001, joining Tri-C as an English tutor in 2013.

Luke Neubecker

Luke NeubeckerMy specialty is helping students write college-level essays for English or any other subject. I’m happy to guide you through the writing process, from brainstorming ideas to citation and proper formatting. Besides serving as an embedded tutor in ENG-1010 and 1020 at Tri-C, I also work in the reference department at a local library.

Kathleen O’Brien

Kathleen O'BrienI’m a writer and communicator who loves to read. I’ve taught English and oral communications and tutored college students for more than 20 years. In my previous career as a newspaper reporter, I wrote about people, murders, and city and school news. I enjoyed being able to walk through the crowd to get to the heart of the story. Outside of the classroom, gardening and bike riding bring me happiness.

Anthony Pilloud

Anthony PilloudI spent six years living in South Korea, where I taught ESL to elementary and middle school students. While there, I earned an online master’s degree in English literature from the University of Southern New Hampshire. My studies focused on the growth and evolution of the American horror genre as a literary and cinematic tradition. My work experience includes one-on-one tutoring, classroom education, lecturing, film projection, coffee brewing and farming.

Raquel Wilbon

Raquel WilbonI’m a published poet, creative writing instructor/teaching artist and poetry judge, better known by the name R.J. Voice. I’ve served as editor for Cleveland State University’s literary magazine, Whiskey Island, and as lead poetry editor for The Black Fork Review. I’m an MFA candidate in Ashland University’s creative writing program, majoring in poetry. I’m also the founder and former president of Renaissance II, which was a creative writing organization for women of color.

Evelyn Williams-Rowell

Evelyn Williams-RowellI have more than 30 years of experience in business and education. In addition to serving as an English tutor and writing consultant, I’ve taught classes in business writing, English composition and GED preparation. I hold undergraduate degrees in applied business and human resources, as well as a Master of Education. I enjoy volunteering for Tri-C JazzFest, attending concerts and plays, and going on scenic excursions.

Kelly Unterborn

Kelly UnterbornI have more than 10 years of tutoring experience in community colleges, including almost two years at Tri-C. I tutor all levels of English, including composition, research and literary analysis, along with elementary and intermediate Spanish. I earned my Master of Arts in English from Cleveland State University in 2020.

Brianna Zgodinski

Brianna ZgodinskiI’ve been a writing tutor for many years, starting when I was an undergraduate student at Cleveland State University. I went on to earn my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English literature from CSU. I teach college writing courses at Tri-C in addition to tutoring, so I’m ready and able to answer any of your questions about writing or the writing process.
