About the Cybersecurity Hackathon
Teams compete against each other to develop and improve tools, solutions and/or applications using cybersecurity best practices to solve a given scenario. The best team projects win.
This event is free, but you must register.
Dates
July 1-14 (ends 11:59 p.m.)
Teams can choose their own times to collaborate.
Location
This is a virtual event. Team communications with the faculty mentor and other members will occur via Blackboard.
Who Can Participate
Event is only open to current Tri-C students who have served or are serving in the Armed Forces.
Teams
Teams will consist of six members and one faculty mentor. Team members may be requested at the time of sign up, but we cannot guarantee that all requests can be honored. Faculty mentors will have final say on team composition.
Judging and Prizes
The judging will be done by the IT Center of Excellence advisory board members.
Prizes are as follows:
- Grand prize winner: $75 Visa gift cards for each student team member
- First runner-up: $25 Visa gift cards for each student team member
- Second runner-up: $15 Visa gift cards for each student team member
