Radiography Simulation Lab
Tri-C's Radiography simulation lab is designed to reflect current technology used in a hospital radiology department. Students have the ability to practice radiographic positioning on each other,Standardized Patients, and phantoms which are models of the human body.
The students are able to practice radiographic experiments in the safety of a controlled environment. While some of the equipment used in this simulation lab is energized (will produce radiation), individuals are never exposed to the radiation in the lab. This is where the phantoms of the human body play a crucial role in the learning practice of future radiographers.
This lab is located at Tri-C's Western Campus in the HTC building.
