The Ohio Department of Education requires all Adult Diploma Program (ADP) students to earn a combined score of 14 or higher on the ACT WorkKeys assessments. The assessments test skills in three areas: Applied Math, Graphic Literacy and Workplace Documents.
How are WorkKeys assessments scored?
There are three assessments, each with possible scores between 3 and 7. You must earn a combined score of 14 across all three assessments to be eligible for a diploma.
What is WorkKeys Curriculum?
WorkKeys Curriculum is an online practice site that prepares you to take the ACT WorkKeys assessments. An account will be created for you at orientation.
You must complete all levels of practice in WorkKeys Curriculum and score at least 80% in levels 3-5 and pass a practice assessment before ADP will register you for the assessment.
How do I access WorkKeys Curriculum?

Where do I take the WorkKeys assessments?
The Tri-C testing center is located in the Manufacturing Technology Center on the Metropolitan Campus. Once registered by ADP, students must call 216-987-4040 to schedule their assessment.
Are there other resources available to practice for the ACT WorkKeys?
Yes, you can find additional resources at the Ohio Means Jobs website.
If you believe you are prepared to take the assessment without completing the pre-work required by ADP, you can schedule and self-pay for the assessments. All three assessments cost $50 and individual retakes cost $17 each.
What if I don’t pass one or more WorkKeys assessments?
Students who don’t pass their assessment(s) must complete the WorkKeys Curriculum again before scheduling a retake at Tri-C. Retakes may be scheduled for one or all of the assessments, either at Tri-C or at a community testing center.
