The Ohio Department of Education requires all Adult Diploma Program (ADP) students to earn a combined score of 13 or higher on the ACT WorkKeys assessments. The assessments test skills in three areas: Applied Math, Graphic Literacy and Workplace Documents.
How are WorkKeys assessments scored?
There are three assessments, each with possible scores between 3 and 7. You must earn a combined score of 13 across all three assessments to be eligible for a diploma.
What is WorkKeys Curriculum?
WorkKeys Curriculum is an online practice site that prepares you to take the ACT WorkKeys assessments. An account will be created for you at orientation.
You must complete all levels of practice in WorkKeys Curriculum and score at least 80% in levels 3-5 before ADP will register you for the assessment.
How do I access WorkKeys Curriculum?
- Go to https://workkeyscurriculum.act.org.
- Your username is your student email address. Your initial password is changeme.
Where do I take the WorkKeys assessments?
The Tri-C testing center is located in the Manufacturing Technology Center on the Metropolitan Campus. Once registered by ADP, students must call 216-987-4040 to schedule their assessment.
If you believe you are prepared to take the assessment without completing the pre-work required by ADP, you may schedule your assessment at one of three community testing centers for free.
Visit https://talentneo.as.me/schedule.php to view locations and schedule your assessment. Please be sure to get a copy of your test scores from the testing center, as Tri-C does not have access to external testing site scores.
What if I don’t pass one or more WorkKeys assessments?
Students who don’t pass their assessment(s) must complete the WorkKeys Curriculum again before scheduling a retake at Tri-C. Retakes may be scheduled for one or all of the assessments, either at Tri-C or at a community testing center.
