Eleven members of Tri-C’s team claimed Academic All-American honors with a GPA higher than 3.4. The list includes:
• Naleta Andrews (Shaker Heights)
• Taylor Badamo (North Royalton)
• Courtney Craig (Garfield Heights)
• Alyssa Fallon (North Olmsted)
• Tania French (Berea)
• Jordan Kati (Willowick)
• Caroline Lapish (Madison)
• Mariah Porter (Wickliffe)
• Amber Ruiz-Bueno (Willowick)
• Sonnie Sauvinsky (Rootstown)

“This is the highest honor our team can achieve,” Tri-C Head Coach Don Cox said. “This says everything about the student-athletes at Cuyahoga Community College and their dedication to success.”
The track team performed well outside of the classroom, too: Tri-C placed 14th at the national championships while setting school records in two events.
