Three individuals and one relay team represent the College at championships
The Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) women’s track team qualified three individual runners and one relay team to this week’s NJCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in New Mexico.
Representing Tri-C in individual events will be:

Hainer, Herron and Leamer will be joined by Karen Barrientos on the College’s distance medley relay team. The distance medley covers 4,000 meters, or approximately 2.5 miles.

Tri-C’s national qualifiers all list hometowns in Northeast Ohio. Barrientos is from Ashtabula, Hainer from Cuyahoga Falls, Herron from North Royalton and Leamer from Lordstown.
The National Junior College Athletic Association Indoor Track and Field Championships will take place Friday and Saturday (March 6-7) at the Albuquerque Convention Center in New Mexico.
