Tri-C Culinary Students Host Benefit Feast for Felines
Fundraising lunch for Tails from the City to be held Oct. 20
Culinary students from Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) will hold an October fundraising lunch to benefit Tails from the City, a nonprofit cat rescue group in Cleveland.
The “Tails or Treats Taco Bar Lunch” will be held 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20, at the College’s Hospitality Management Center on Public Square. The build-your-own taco line will feature chicken and toppings such as lettuce, tomatoes, salsa, guacamole, sour cream and more.
Vegetarian and vegan options will also be available.
Advance tickets are $11 and can be purchased by visiting www.tri-c.edu/tailsortreats by Oct. 18. The cost will be $15 at the door. A beverage is included with the meal.
Proceeds will benefit Tails from the City, a no-kill cat shelter run by volunteers in Cleveland’s Ohio City. The safe haven takes in and cares for abandoned, abused, neglected and homeless cats while working to find them “furever” homes.
Tri-C’s Hospitality Management Center is located at 180 Euclid Ave. on Cleveland’s Public Square. Luncheon guests may park for $1 at ProPark’s Cleveland Public Square Garage, located at 2047 Ontario St. Please bring the parking garage ticket stub to the luncheon for validation.
