Tri-C Basketball Player Claims Conference Award
Devon Robinson named Player of the Week after leading Challengers to pair of victories
Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) basketball player Devon Robinson earned Division II Player of the Week honors from the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference for his performance Dec.12-18.
Robinson averaged 16 points while leading the nationally ranked Challengers to two conference wins. The freshman forward also contributed 13.5 rebounds, 3.5 steals and 2.5 assists and two steals per game.
On the season, he leads the OCCAC in rebounding and steals and ranks 11th in scoring.
Robinson, who attended John Adams High School in Cleveland, is studying physical therapy at Tri-C.
The Challengers are 14-0 on the season and 4th in the most recent NJCAA Division II rankings. The team plays its home games at Tri-C’s Metropolitan Campus gymnasium, located at the corner of East 30th Street and Community College Avenue in Cleveland.
