J. David Heller Appointed to Tri-C Board of Trustees
Co-founder and principal of The NRP Group sworn in to post today
J. David Heller has been appointed to the Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) Board of Trustees for a term ending March 26, 2017.
Heller is co-founder and principal of The NRP Group, a developer, general contractor and property manager that has constructed more than 23,000 residential units in 13 states since its founding in 1995.
A certified public accountant, he also serves on the executive committee and is past chairman of the Housing Credit Group for the National Association of Home Builders.
Heller has held leadership positions in many civic organizations, including the Jewish Community Federation of Cleveland, United Way of Greater Cleveland, Northeast Ohio Medical University and the Ohio Police and Fire Pension Fund.
The Moreland Hills resident earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan.
“I am honored to serve on behalf of the citizens of Cuyahoga County,” Heller said. “Tri-C plays a critical role in the workforce development needs of this community and helps our residents build a better life. I look forward to learning and contributing to the continued success of this tremendous community asset.”
Heller was appointed to Tri-C’s Board of Trustees by Cuyahoga County Executive Armond Budish and sworn in during today’s meeting. He replaces Megan O’Bryan, who stepped down from her post in September.
