Dig It: Tri-C Volleyball Players Named All-OCCAC
Sarah Leighliter and Kaye Paraon each end freshman season with postseason awards

Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) volleyball players Sarah Leighliter and Kaye Paraon earned all-conference honors from the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference for their performance during the 2017 season.
Leighliter received All-OCCAC First Team recognition after leading the Challengers and conference in kills per set. The middle hitter/outside hitter also ranked among the team leaders in blocks.
The freshman from Lorain is in the College’s pre-nursing program.
Paraon was named All-OCCAC Honorable Mention. The defensive specialist led Tri-C in digs and ranked among the conference leaders in the category. She also ranked third on the team in assists.
The freshman from Garfield Heights is also in Tri-C’s pre-nursing program.
The volleyball team posted a record of 14-17, finishing sixth in the conference. The team plays its home games at Tri-C’s Eastern Campus in Highland Hills. View more information.
