A Slam Dunk Decision: Wade Lowman Claims ‘OCCAC Player of the Week’ Award
Honor follows the sophomore center leading Challengers to a big victory

Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) basketball player Wade Lowman earned Division II Player of the Week honors from the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference for his performance Nov. 20-26.
Robinson made 10 of 11 shots in Tri-C’s 81-67 home victory over Schoolcraft College in a game between nationally ranked teams. Schoolcraft opened the season ranked fifth in the polls, with Tri-C just behind in 12th.
The sophomore center scored 22 points in the game while also contributing six rebounds and three assists.
This is the second career Player of the Week honor for Lowman, who also won the award in March last season. He was named Honorable Mention All-OCCAC during his freshman year with the Challengers.
Lowman, of Philadelphia, is working toward an Associate of Arts degree at Tri-C.
The victory over Schoolcraft lifted the Challengers to a record of 7-0 on the season. The team plays its home games at Tri-C’s Metropolitan Campus gymnasium, located at the corner of East 30th Street and Community College Avenue in Cleveland.
