Women in Transition Alum Encourages Others to 'Take the Leap' and Enroll
Traci Dickerson shares her story with Spectrum News as registration opens for next session
The Women in Transition program at Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) gave Traci Dickerson the courage to return to school more than two decades after she last set foot in a classroom.
After completing the program, she enrolled in Tri-C’s culinary program this year to explore a new career path. Spring semester ended with her name on the Dean’s List.
Dickerson recently shared her story with Spectrum News as Rodneya Ross reported on the life-changing power of Women in Transition. Registration is open for the program’s next session, which begins the first week of August.
In her interview with Ross, Dickerson encouraged women to enroll.
“Take the leap. Be brave. You’ll end up a better person,” Dickerson said. “Don’t be afraid. Push through your fear and make something happen for yourself.”
