Understanding the Importance of Jerusalem

‘Learning for Life’ lecture series program on April 18 focuses on the holy city

Learning for Life Lecture Series LogoCuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) will examine the religious and historical identity of Jerusalem during a “Learning for Life” lecture series program April 18 at Corporate College® West.

The free program — titled “Jerusalem: Center of the World” — will focus on the complex history of the holy city and explain its significance to the Abrahamic faiths of Christianity, Islam and Judaism.

Rania Assily, an assistant professor of history at Tri-C, will lead the discussion.

The program will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. in room 112 at Corporate College West, located at 25425 Center Ridge Road in Westlake. No registration is required. For more information, call 216-987-5968.
