Triceratops Volleyball Players Named All-OCCAC
Annaiya Ruffin and McKennzie Papp end freshman season with awards
Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) volleyball players Annaiya Ruffin and McKennzie Papp earned all-conference honors from the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference for their performance during the 2019 season.
Ruffin — an outside hitter — received All-OCCAC First Team recognition after leading the conference in points and kills per set. She also earned two conference Player of the Week awards. The freshman from Reminderville is studying marketing at Tri-C.
Papp — a setter — was named All-OCCAC Honorable Mention. She ranked among the conference leaders in digs and assists. The freshman from Parma is working toward an associate degree in dental hygiene.
Tri-C battled to a fourth-place tie in the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference this season with an 8-8 record. Overall, the Triceratops finished the regular season with a 12-19 record after winning six of its final 10 matches.
