Tri-C’s Women in Transition Program Offers Online Spring Sessions
Register now for free multi-week course options that begin the last week of January
The Women in Transition program at Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) is launching spring sessions of online classes to empower women in their pursuit of education, training and a career.
The multi-week programs begin the last week of January. Interactive online classes will take place from 10 a.m. to noon three days a week. One course runs Monday to Wednesday; the other runs Tuesday to Thursday. The noncredit program is free and open to the public.
Participants build confidence and skills through classes on personal development, career exploration and computer literacy. The course is designed to assist women in transitional periods of their lives, such as a career change or return to the workforce.
Visit tri-c.edu/women-in-transition to register for an upcoming course, learn more about the program or sign up for a virtual information meeting.
A second online spring session begins at the end of March and will include an evening class.
The program is also offered separately in East Cleveland and through Tri-C Access Centers operated in partnership with Esperanza Inc. and Olivet Housing and Community Development Corp. (OHCDC), an arm of Olivet Institutional Baptist Church.
Tri-C’s Women in Transition debuted in 1978 and has contributed to thousands of personal success stories across Northeast Ohio over the past four decades.
Women in Transition opted to hold its spring sessions online given uncertainties created by the COVID-19 outbreak. The program also took place virtually last summer and fall as part of the College’s efforts to limit the spread of the virus.
