Tri-C Wins Gold at Paragon Awards
Drone Academy postcard series earns top NCMPR honor
Cuyahoga Community College’s Integrated Communications Department has added another first-place award to its growing trophy case.
The College’s Drone Academy postcard series won gold at the 2018 Paragon Awards, announced Monday at the 2019 National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) National Conference at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort in San Antonio, Texas.
The Paragon Awards recognize excellence in design and communication at community and technical colleges throughout the U.S. and Canada. The 2018 competition drew more than 1,900 entries from 262 colleges. Tri-C won gold in the “Postcard (single or series)” category, one of 55 categories in which awards were presented.
The award is Tri-C’s second gold Paragon Award and its fourth overall Paragon Award in the last two years. In the 2017 awards, Tri-C won gold in the “Logo Design” category and bronzes in the “Instagram” and “Excellence in Writing – Long Form” categories.
