Tri-C Program Examines Cultures Through Historical Objects
Feb. 12 program at Westshore Campus is part of ‘Learning for Life’ lecture series
Examine objects representing different cultures through time in the latest “Learning for Life” lecture series program presented by Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) at Westshore Campus.
The hands-on presentation focuses on the original purposes of nine historical items and the meanings they may have held. It is part of the Cleveland Museum of Art’s “Art to Go” program.
The interactive session will allow participants to handle actual art objects while discussing the significance of the works, as well as materials and techniques used by the artists.
The program will take place from noon to 1 p.m. in room 310 of the Liberal Arts and Technology building at Westshore Campus, located at 31001 Clemens Road in Westlake. Registration is requested, but not required.
