Tri-C JazzFest Seeks Volunteers for June Festival Weekend

Online applications accepted through March 27

A Tri-C JazzFest volunteer at Playhouse SquareCuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) is looking for energetic and passionate music lovers to volunteer at the 41st annual Tri-C JazzFest Cleveland, presented by KeyBank.

The College is accepting applications online at www.tri-c.edu/JazzVolunteer through Friday, March 27. The online form asks for basic information to align the skills of the individual with the tasks at hand.

Volunteer responsibilities include everything from distributing materials and working backstage to assisting with guest artists. Training may be required for some positions.

All volunteers — new and returning — must complete the application.

“Our volunteers help us deliver a world-class experience to the tens of thousands of music lovers who make Tri-C JazzFest part of their summer,” said Terri Pontremoli, the festival’s director. “It’s a unique way to be part of a Cleveland tradition.”

The 2020 Tri-C JazzFest runs June 25-27 at Playhouse Square. The festival includes nine ticketed concerts inside the theater district’s historic venues plus a full lineup of free outdoor shows, vendors and food. Visit www.tri-cjazzfest.com for more information.

The 41st annual Tri-C JazzFest Cleveland is presented by KeyBank and made possible by Cuyahoga Community College, the National Endowment for the Arts, Ohio Arts Council, Strassman Insurance Services Inc. and a growing list of donors and members.
