Tri-C Hosts ‘Tech 4 All Community Day’
Hands-on activities highlight April 21 open house at Corporate College East
Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) will host a technology open house for teens and their families on Saturday, April 21, at Corporate College® East.
The Tech 4 All Community Day will offer hands-on, high-tech activities for middle school and high school students. The free event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in celebration of the 2018 OHTec Tech Week.
Activities will include:
- A Gamer’s Dream to learn the coding behind games and apps
- A technology scavenger hunt
- Demonstrations of the Microsoft HoloLens, a holographic computer that allows users to interact with holograms
- A computer coding workshop
- Drone demonstrations
- Cybersecurity sessions with tips on protecting personal information
The open house will also offer opportunities to learn about IT programs offered through the College’s Information Technology Center of Excellence, explore career options and talk with IT professionals.

Corporate College East is located at 4400 Richmond Road in Warrensville Heights. The event is being co-sponsored by IndeedWeCode, an organization dedicated to making IT careers more accessible to African-American girls.
