Tri-C Honored for Marketing and PR Work
College recognized with 11 Medallion Awards at regional conference
District 3 of the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations awarded Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) with 11 2018 Medallion Awards, which recognize excellence in communications at two-year colleges.
Honors for the College’s Integrated Communications Department included:
- A Gold Award for the spring 2018 edition of Tri-C Times
- A Gold Award for a video advertisement promoting the College’s Workforce, Community and Economic Development Division
- A Gold Award in social media campaigns for the “Insta-Story Student Takeovers”
- A Gold Award in writing for a success story on five graduating basketball players
- A Gold Award for a postcard promoting Tri-C’s Drone Academy
- A Silver Award for the communications campaign for Tri-C’s Cleveland Eats Culinary Festival
- A Silver Award for signage at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport showcasing the College’s Veterans Initiative
- A Silver Award for a series of posters communicating important information to students on topics such as tutoring, financial aid, textbook rental, transfer services, public transportation and academic planning
- A Silver Award for the College’s electronic course catalog
- A Silver Award for the 2017 holiday video e-card to students
- A Silver Award for a photograph of a graduate and his student government co-advisor taking a commencement selfie
The district announced the awards Oct. 29 during its annual conference in Toledo.
