Tri-C Foundation Expands Student Emergency Fund
Foundation working to overcome COVID-19 roadblocks to education
Cuyahoga Community College’s mid-March transition to all-online learning created unavoidable challenges for many students, both in school and at home.
In the months since the COVID-19 pandemic arrived in Ohio, the Cuyahoga Community College Foundation has expanded its funding and services to aid students in need, removing roadblocks so they can continue on the path to their educational goals.
A recent Cleveland Jewish News article highlighted some of the steps the Foundation has taken — particularly the expansion of its Student Emergency Fund, which provides approved students with monetary assistance to alleviate short-term financial hardship.
Tri-C will continue all-online learning through at least the end of summer session in August.
