Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) recently honored Hyland with a Community Champion Award for its support of the College’s Career Center and students entering the information technology field.

The Westlake company serves on the Career Center’s Experiential Advisory Committee, where it provides input and insight on ways to prepare students for employment in the expanding IT job market.

Hyland has also opened its doors to students the past several years as a stop on the Career Center’s IT Bus Tour. The company routinely hires Tri-C students for internships and co-ops, too.

“Hyland is fully immersed in the community, in Tri-C and in helping students succeed,” wrote Claudia Motiu, the Career Center’s director of employer outreach, in her award nomination.

The Community Champion Award was presented to Hyland during the recent 2019 Appreciation Breakfast, held at Corporate College® East in Warrensville Heights. The program is sponsored by Tri-C’s Office of Government Relations and Community Outreach.
