Tri-C Answers Emergency Need for Dispatchers
College program featured in Cleveland 19 News story
Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) is answering the call to train dispatchers for critical jobs in Northeast Ohio emergency call centers.
A report by Cleveland 19 News focused on the dispatch training program at the College’s Public Safety Center of Excellence. Tri-C launched the program in 2016 to address an expected shortage of dispatchers.
Enrollment has grown from eight to more than 40 since the program began, helping to fill openings at call centers such as the Parma Regional Dispatch Center.
