Top Scores: Tri-C Student-Athletes Receive Conference Academic Honors
Nineteen Challengers honored by the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference
Nineteen student-athletes at Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) earned All-Academic recognition from the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference for their classroom success during fall semester.
To gain All-Academic status, students needed at least a 3.3 GPA while completing 12 or more credit hours during the semester.
The following Tri-C students, listed by team, were recognized (* indicates a 4.0 GPA):
Baseball: Dylan Brister of Grafton; *Chase Carney of Cincinnati; *Landon Hunt of Waterford, Michigan; Brody McGrath of Albany; Dan Theberge of Avon Lake; and Barrett Weber of Bainbridge Township.
Men’s Basketball: Anthony Bittala of Cleveland and Wade Lowman of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Soccer: Kemor Turner of Jamaica.
Softball: Kaitlyn Boykin of Painesville; Kayla Gardner of Sullivan; and *Emma Macias of Painesville.
Women’s Track: Taylor Badamo of North Royalton; *Caroline Lapish of Madison; Chanavier Robinson of Ravenna; Sonnie Sauvinsky of Rootstown; *Shelbie Sporcich of Ashtabula; *Naomi Walker of North Olmsted; and Taylor Wilson of Eastlake.
