State leader wears teal tie featuring Tri-C mascot Stomp during daily press briefing
Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) and its mascot, Stomp, received some prime time exposure May 11 courtesy of Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine.
DeWine wore a teal tie featuring Tri-C’s beloved triceratops mascot during his daily press briefing. He has been wearing ties from different colleges and universities across Ohio while providing updates on the state’s response to the COVID-19 outbreak.
The governor spoke briefly about the College in his opening remarks, mentioning one of Tri-C’s most prominent alumni, Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson. The College’s Office of Government Relations and Community Outreach sent the tie to DeWine.
