Hoop Honors: Tri-C Women’s Basketball Players Named All-Conference

Tre’Vion Beverly, Marisela Santos and Rachelle White recognized by OCCAC

Hoop Honors: Tri-C Women’s Basketball Players Named All-ConferenceThree women’s basketball players at Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) earned all-conference honors from the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference for the 2017-2018 season.

Tre’Vion Beverly, Marisela Santos and Rachelle White all received Honorable Mention All-OCCAC honors.

Beverly averaged a team-leading 12.1 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game — numbers that also earned her a spot on the All-Defensive Team. The sophomore forward from Cleveland also contributed 9.4 points per game. She is working toward an Associate of Science degree at the College.

Santos averaged 12 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game. The sophomore guard from Cleveland is in Tri-C’s surgical technology program.

White led the team with 14.5 points and 2.9 assists per game, which also earned her a spot on the All-Freshman Team. The point guard also grabbed 4.9 rebounds per game. White, of Euclid, is studying to become a radiologic technologist.

The Challengers ended the season with a record of 13-8 and fifth in the conference.
