Hitting Big: Tri-C’s Kaila Sense Named ‘Player of the Week’ by OCCAC
Freshman first baseman claims conference award after batting .833
Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) softball player Kaila Sense earned Player of the Week honors from the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference for her performance March 19-25.
The first baseman batted .833 over two games, with five hits in six at-bats. She also scored twice and stole a base as the Challengers split a pair of games on the week.
The freshman from Bath Township is studying to be a firefighter and paramedic.
The Challengers are now 8-4 on the season. The team plays its home games at Tri-C’s Western Campus in Parma.
