Feeding a Need: Tri-C Employees Raise $7,000 for Greater Cleveland Food Bank
Fundraising continues to help meet rising demand following COVID-19 outbreak

Employees at Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) have raised nearly $7,000 — and counting — to help the Greater Cleveland Food Bank meet the surge of demand created by the COVID-19 outbreak.
The donation grew from the College’s annual Harvest for Hunger campaign, with dollars collected on campus and online. The money raised so far will provide nearly 27,000 meals for those in need.

The Food Bank has seen significant increases in assistance requests given rising unemployment numbers and economic stress linked to the pandemic. The number of new clients at the agency has more than doubled since last year.
