Tri-C Student to Serve on Ohio State Fair Junior Fair Board

For two weeks this summer, Kaitlin Willi will help run the Ohio State Fair.
Willi, a College Credit Plus student at Cuyahoga Community College, is one of 17 youths from around the state who have been selected for this year’s Ohio State Fair Junior Fair Board. In her role, Willi will assist in a variety of tasks and projects over the 12-day course of the fair.
Junior fair board members are selected based on demonstrated leadership qualities and involvement in community youth organizations, including Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, 4-H and FFA.
Willi, 17, is a junior at Westlake High School who has been taking College Credit Plus courses at Tri-C for the past year. She is a member of Phi Theta Kappa at Tri-C, along with the TechMates club and Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) at Westlake High School. Willi plans to attend Wright State University after graduation.
The Ohio State Fair runs July 25-Aug. 5 at the Ohio Expo Center and State Fairgrounds in Columbus.
