Cleveland Eats Announces Musical Lineup
Fastball headlines six bands taking the stage at the September culinary festival

The chart-topping band Fastball headlines the musical lineup at this year’s Cleveland Eats, a downtown culinary festival organized by the Hospitality Management Center of Excellence at Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®).
The Grammy Award-nominated group — which released iconic ‘90s hits such as “The Way” and “Out of My Mind” — will cap a rocking day of performances at Cleveland Eats on Saturday, Sept. 15.
The second annual food and drink celebration takes place on the Mall B outdoor event space above the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland. The festival runs from noon to 10 p.m.
Bands scheduled to perform on the main stage throughout the day include:
- Whiskey Hollow (12:30-1:30 p.m.)
- Jul Big Green (2-3 p.m.)
- Cleveland’s Breakfast Club (3:30-4:30 p.m.)
- Carlos Jones and the P.L.U.S. Band (5-6:15 p.m.)
- Old Skool (6:45-8 p.m.)
- Fastball (8:30-10 p.m.)
“Nothing pairs better with great food than great music,” said Michael Huff, the College’s dean of hospitality management. “We’re offering the best of both.”
Cleveland Eats turns Mall B into a downtown dining room with selections from the region’s top chefs, restaurants and breweries. More than 8,000 attended the inaugural festival to sample cuisine that has helped Cleveland earn a reputation as one of the nation’s best food cities.
Aside from live music, the family-friendly event will also feature cooking demonstrations; a culinary marketplace; and children’s activities.
A cooperative of corporate and civic partners combine to stage Cleveland Eats, and a Culinary Council guiding the planning process represents a “who’s who” in the Northeast Ohio food scene.
Cleveland Eats serves to showcase the hospitality industry’s impact on the Northeast Ohio economy and Tri-C’s vital role in training the skilled workers needed to continue the region’s restaurant renaissance.
Admission starts at $5, with children age 12 and under admitted free. Details on participating chefs and restaurants will be released closer to the event.
