Award-Winning Tri-C Literary Journal Now Available

The 2019 edition of ‘Breakwall’ features works by 21 students

Cover of Breakwall, Tri-C's literary journalThe fall 2019 edition of Breakwall, an award-winning literary and photography publication produced by students at Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®), is now available through the College’s Creative Arts Center of Excellence.

The peer-reviewed journal is filled with student works in prose, poetry, drama and photography. Twenty-one Tri-C students from throughout Northeast Ohio contributed to the latest edition.

The 10th volume of Breakwall includes a cover featuring photographs from students Elaine Brunschwig of Avon, Holly Dolezal of South Euclid, Alanna Hicks of Cleveland, Miranda Lyons of Independence, Josie Powers of Strongsville and Nicole Tiboni of Fairview Park.

The literary journal serves as a vehicle for creative expression for the Tri-C community. The published works reflect the artistic excellence of students and the diversity of the College and its campuses.

Breakwall has won three national Associated College Press awards since its debut.
