Eastern Campus Education Center Renovations
The Eastern Campus Education Center Renovation project will renovate approximately 30,000 square feet to include new faculty and student space, a new entry and gathering space, and accommodations for workforce programming.
Phase I: December 17, 2018 – June 1, 2019
Phase II: May 13, 2019 – end of summer session 2019
Project work is done with careful controls and compliance, with safety as the highest priority.
The construction team realizes that they are working in high-traffic areas and will do their best to minimize the impact on students and employees.
Entry into the construction area is prohibited. See image below (construction area shaded in yellow and Phase II is outlined in green).
- The main entrance to the East Education Center (EEC) will remain closed.
- The north entrance, adjacent to Café 4250, will be closed through May 26.
- EEC may also be accessed via the north entrance to the Mandel Humanities Center. The connector between buildings will remain open during renovation.
- The EEC annex will remain open and accessible during renovation. Classrooms and offices located in the annex can be accessed via identified pedestrian paths in the image below.
