Women's Cross Country
Due to uncertainties created by the COVID-19 outbreak, Tri-C is suspending fall and winter athletics to safeguard student-athletes, coaches and the community. The risk of spreading COVID-19 during team activities is simply too great. It would be challenging — if not impossible — to implement the precautions and protocols needed to ensure a safe environment during competition, practices and other aspects of athletics. Read more about the decision to suspend athletics.
The women’s cross country /track teams compete in Region XII (Indiana, Ohio, Michigan) of the National junior College Athletic Association. The women’s cross country/track teams are the only teams at Cuyahoga Community College that compete at the Division I level. Both programs focus on academic success while also promoting athletic excellence at local, regional and national cross country/track competitions.
Anyone interested in trying out for cross country should contact Dr. Cox (firstname.lastname@example.org). Tryouts are open to any full time (12 credit hours) student at Tri-C that is eligible under National Collegiate Athletic Association rules for collegiate athletic eligibility.
