Students at Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) are encouraged to “get the shot” during upcoming vaccination clinics, when two-dose COVID-19 vaccines will be offered at all four campuses. The vaccines, offered through a partnership with Care Alliance Health Center, are available on a walk-in basis.
Students receiving their first shot will have $10 added to their Stomp Card, valid for food and other purchases at Tri-C’s food service and bookstore sites. Upon receiving their second shot, participants will receive a special edition “Got the Shot” T-shirt. Vaccination clinics are open to Tri-C students, faculty and staff 18 and over.
“This is a team effort,” said Tri-C President Alex Johnson. “We’re proud to partner with Care Alliance on these vaccination clinics and provide our students with this opportunity to roll up their sleeves and get the shot. That is how this pandemic will be defeated: one vaccinated person at a time.”
