October 13, 2017
A Cuyahoga Community College promo spot for the College Credit Plus program took first place in a national marketing video competition last weekend.
The competition was part of the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP) National Conference, held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel – Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. Tri-C’s video was chosen from a field of three finalists, with conference attendees voting for a winner.
The winning video features the testimonials of Bridget Mahoney and Aswin Bikkani, a pair of Tri-C College Credit Plus students who utilized the program to expedite their college educations while still in high school.
College Credit Plus is an Ohio Department of Higher Education program that allows eligible students between seventh and 12th grade to concurrently earn high school and college credits. The program benefits students who want a fast-track route to an associate degree, or who want to complete freshman- and sophomore-level college courses on a compressed timeline, in preparation for transfer to a four-year college or university.
