Tri-C Student Directing Third Feature Film, 'Banger,' in Cleveland
May 22, 2015

Cuyahoga Community College media arts and filmmaking student Mike Berry is working on his third feature film, Banger. He wrote the script while taking classes at Tri-C. The cast and crew are filming now in Cleveland.
"Hard to believe that it was just 2012 when I decided I wanted to make movies, so I got into TRI C's film program to learn how, and three years later, I'm working on my third feature film,” Berry said. “I'll be directing some known actors.
“I love my city because they believe in me, and they support me so much. There is no place I'd rather be except Cleveland.”
In addition, De’Andre Bush, another Tri-C media arts and filmmaking student, plays the character Freddy G in the film.
