New WEDD Leader at Tri-C Seeks Synergies Between Program, Needs of Local Workforce

Crain's Cleveland Business recently profiled William Gary, the new executive vice president of Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®)'s Workforce and Economic Development Division (WEDD). Among Gary's top priorities is developing synergies between the College's job-training program and local businesses.
Gary told Crain's:
“I want to be very careful not to break anything that doesn't need to be fixed, but add to it, expand it and scale it.”
Gary has been making the rounds lately. He made a Sept. 30 guest appearance on “America’s Work Force Radio.” Gary discussed the Northeast Ohio economy and Tri-C’s role in training workers to meet regional needs.
