Tri-C Student, a Visually Impaired Veteran, Has a Fish Story

August 25, 2014

Ronnie Leeth recently enjoyed an all-expenses paid trip to Canada, where stayed in a romote cabin and fished every day.

The trip was organized by Sheffield Village resident Joe Temkiewicz, a Vietnam veteran who wanted to honor other veterans.

Leeth, who is visually impaired, served in the Air Force during the Vietnam war. According to the story on cleveland.com, Leeth's other senses served him well on his trip. Among his catches was a 41-inch northern pike.

Leeth is studying human services at Cuyahoga Community College and plans to open a non-profit senior adult care facility.
